The Nursing Program plays a critical role in keeping our students safe, healthy, and learning. Children with chronic health conditions are able to stay in school with the assistance of the school Nurse. All children who get sick or injured during the school day have a licensed person on-site to provide inital care and treatment. Humphreys County School District is proud to assist all children across the county. Our nurses are trained to assist your child with medical needs. Our nurses also follow strict protocols which assure each student receives the highest care and attention. The School Nursing program is an integral part of the Coordinated School Health Program which support children and their families through Health Education, Health Services (nursing), Counseling, Psychological and Social Services, Nutrition, Physical Education/Physical Activity, school staff wellness, healthy school environment and student/parent/guardian/community involvement...working together to help provide the best possible learning environment and experience for your children.
