Description of Prevention Services:

The following schools are served by STARS:

Glencliff, Overton, Stratford, David Lipscomb High School (K-12), Franklin Road Academy, Two Rivers Middle Schools, Donelson Christian Academy, Wright Middle School, Martin Luther King Magnet, Nashville School of the Arts, West End Middle, Isaac Lilton Middle, Highland Heights middle, Jere Baxter, Carter Lawrence, Maple Wood ALC, Cohn ALC and West End ALC. Services are provided in all Williamson and Wilson County Elementary, Middle, and High Schools, and one high school in Sumner County.

STARS is a school-based program dedicated to helping students make healthy life-style choices and refrain from the use of alcohol, other drugs, and violence.

Description of Treatment Services:

Support students in recovery from chemical dependency and other addictions. Support groups in the schools are available for students with life controlling issues.
