WHO WE ARE

H.E.A.T.

H.E.A.T. is an acronym for  Humphreys Empowerment Action Team.   H.E.A.T.  is a newly developing coalition of people representing many facets of the community whose common goal is to promote a healthy, drug and violence free society in which to raise families.  See the “Evergreen” Logic Model.

Vision

The vision of H.E.A.T. is that Humphreys County will be a unified community dedicated to promoting safe, wholesome, Drug-free lifestyles.

 

 

Mission Statement

The Humphreys Empowerment Action Team is an active cross-section of the community that will:

·         Pursue the desires and needs of the county as it pertains to education, prevention, and intervention issues of ATOD, and especially in the reduction of abuse among the young people of the community.

·         Help develop cohesive initiatives that will strengthen the family values throughout the community.

·         Be an information and assistance source for individuals, groups, businesses, faith organizations, schools, and other entities who have a desire to serve the citizens of Humphreys County.

·         Be an advocacy group for the young people of Humphreys County.
