Congratulations to three Greenhouse Program coalitions who were awarded federal grants this week! These coalitions received grants (Up to $100,000) through the Drug-Free Communities Support Program, which Congress established in 1997 specifically to assist community coalitions to reduce substance abuse among youth.  The three coalitions who wrote successful grant applications are:

East Texas Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse (ETCADA) located in Longville, Texas. Ms. Susan Erwin – Team Leader.

Galia-Jackson-Meigs Board of Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health, located in Gallipolis, Ohio. Ms. Pat Pletcher – Team Leader.

Humphreys County Drug Alliance, Inc., located in New Johnsonville, Tennessee.  Mr. Gerald Bowker – Team Leader.

Best wishes and continued success to the coalitions and their leaders who received federal grants this week from all of us at CADCA!
